WOW ... doesn't start to cover it.

Back when BooMama contacted us to do the "For Kelli" fundraiser, her goal was to cover at least the first months COBRA payment.

As the date approached and hit, several of you emailed her that you were hoping to raise at least the first year's COBRA payments.

Well, the numbers are in and ..... we didn't hit the one year mark .....

However!

What y'all DID do, was raise THE FULL 18 MONTHS worth o'payments.

We cannot even BEGIN to express our sincere thank you for the chance at life that you have given me.

There are no words.

Fantastic! A lady, Allison, commented on my blog and asked how to contact you with helpful information. She said she had emailed you. I hope there's something there that can help, too.

THIS is what I wanted to see happen. Cobra payments covered for 18 months! Let the search begin!

The thing I wanted more than anything was to know that you and J could set this huge worry aside and know that there is hope now. I'm beyond happy for all four of you. What a wondrous thing this is.

God Bless You, Kelli.

Ok ... I was one of the ones who said a year ... then I wrote booMama again and said "No, I'm getting the distinct impression we should be asking for 18 months." ... but then I started "hedging me bets" ... and just asking for a year ...

I am sooo thrilled for you Kelli, and I am sooo glad God is a merciful God and doesn't listen to my doubts ...

And I have to admit I'm so brokenhearted that I doubted ...

so I keep bouncing back and forth between sobbing and hard laughter. My landlord probably thinks I'm losing it!

I'd just love to know ... did anybody else hear God laugh? I mean right from the first time I found out about booMama's big brave doings ... I felt like God laughed in pure joy and said ... "just you watch this!"

And Kelli, when you said you thought you heard "will you please get out of my way and let me bless you," I did laugh because it was so inline with "just you watch this."

So yeah ... Anybody else setting up a remembrance stone for this event? After this last year, I'm ready to start collecting real stones and having them engraved!

Ok so ... next up? What are we praying over? A live donor? Airfare for the donor?

Hugs!!

Pam << Gone for a walk cause there ain't no concentrating now! And I think I'd like to go find some place quiet to apologize to God. And then I'm going to come home and shout and play praise music and ... i think I'll find a really great stone while I'm out walking ...

What an awesome testimony to God's goodness. You are a role model in so many ways. Me in my "taught from birth to be humble" roots would likely have said - don't worry about me - I don't want to put anyone out etc. etc. But your gratitude and acceptance of this gift has reminded me that we all need to love ourselves because God created us and loves us. He desires to bless us and show His love for us and I'm sure it gives him great pleasure when we smile like our children in thankfulness of his gifts. Had you not accepted these gifts others would not have recieved the joy of giving and blessing another sister. Its amazing how good God is and how he works all things together. God sees the whole picture laid out without the confines of time and I KNOW he looks at your future with joy and knows that it is good.

May you rest in the confidence God has in His good plans for you.
