Melanie, a sweet friend who comments regularly, created this post in honor of National Organ Donor Day today ... I'll invite each of you to read it.
Although I've been signed up as an organ donor since I was 18, I know I couldn't have said it better!
Isn't it awesome that National Organ Donor Day falls on Valentines Day!

I'm signed up too; have been for a long time - my husband, all three of our kids. I'm too practical to waste anything, especially an organ someone else could use - we won't be needing them in heaven, so might as well leave them for someone else to put to good use! xoox

I've been signed up for a long time. I've worked with people on both the giving and receiving ends of it. I am a HUGE supporter of organ donation. I'm still praying for you every day.

Two minutes after I saw this at Melanie's place, it was in my sidebar. I'm proud to display it. I just hope it inspires people to realize what being a donor can really mean to someone, like you, who's on a waiting list for the gift of life.
I've always had "organ donor" since I first got my driver's license...I think it's a wonderful opportunity to provide someone with the gift of life. I didn't realize national organ donor day fell on Valentine's Day though!
